Job Requirements
As a Senior Finance Specialist Accounting & Control, you will play a hybrid role bridging management control and accounting operations. Your mission is to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of financial information, while actively contributing to the improvement of internal processes. You will act as a key link between accounting and business insight, supporting informed decision-making and driving operational efficiency across the organization.

Your responsibilities are:

• Support the Financial Controller in improving financial planning and reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses to support business decisions.
• Take an active role in monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and standards.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation as needed.
• Support audit processes, coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and process optimization within the finance function.
• Ensure strong communication and alignment between accounting, controlling, and operational teams.

You are.
Most importantly, you have a business-oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex financial issues into actionable insights. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a 'self-starter' mentality, to be open-minded and curious. You will also be able to identify with the following requirements:

• You will have at least 6 years' experience in audit (preferably Big4) or corporate finance within technically demanding environments.
• You have a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• You have Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and Taxes.
• You will have strong process analysis skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
• You are fluent in both Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing. You'll need to use both languages on a daily basis.
