Social Media Manager
to manage and grow our digital presence across platforms with strategy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity.

not for influencers

Music industry experience is REQUIRED.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Social Media Manager is responsible for
planning, executing, and managing the social media calendar end-to-end
across all platforms.

You will:

  • Own the calendar
  • Execute posting
  • Guide community tone
  • Coordinate with creative and marketing leadership
  • Ensure consistency, discipline, and quality across all channels

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Social Media Strategy & Calendar Ownership

  • Build, maintain, and execute the monthly content calendar
  • Align content with tours, shows, releases, announcements, and campaigns
  • Ensure platform-specific strategies (not copy-paste posting)

2. Content Execution & Publishing

  • Write captions and oversee storytelling across platforms
  • Schedule and publish posts, stories, reels, shorts, and community posts
  • Adapt content formats per platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify)

3. Creative Coordination

  • Work closely with designer, videographer, and marketing leadership
  • Request assets, give clear briefs, and ensure brand consistency
  • Maintain visual and tonal alignment with BVAS identity

4. Community & Oversight

  • Oversee daily engagement strategy (comments, DMs, mentions)
  • Coordinate or delegate execution to a Community Manager when applicable
  • Ensure respectful, culturally aligned communication

5. Analytics & Optimization

  • Track performance: engagement, reach, growth, saves, shares
  • Provide weekly insights and recommendations
  • Optimize posting times, formats, and messaging

6. Paid Campaigns (When Needed)

  • Manage or support Meta ads for tours and announcements
  • Coordinate targeting, creatives, and budgets with leadership
  • Report on performance and ROI

7. Workflow & Organization

  • Work strictly inside
    Asana
  • Respect approval chains and deadlines
  • Keep content, captions, and assets organized

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3+ years experience managing social media for artists, labels, festivals, or music brands
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish
  • Proven experience owning and executing content calendars
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Fluent in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube & Spotify
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and analytics
  • English required, Spanish strongly preferred
  • Highly organized, proactive, and execution-driven
  • Comfortable working remotely with clear leadership
