At Metricool, we're looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to own and manage our social media presence in Brazil, one of our most strategic growth markets.
You'll work 100% remotely in an international, fast-growing company, with a team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and analytical thinking.
Your mission is to make Metricool relevant and recognizable in Brazil through social media. You'll do this by adapting and publishing global content for the local market, managing our day-to-day social media presence, and creating video-first content that reflects Brazilian culture and trends.
In this position, you will have a meaningful impact in different areas:
As Content Creator,
- Adapt global social media campaigns, launches, and evergreen content to the Brazilian market, ensuring cultural relevance and a local tone.
- Research and propose native content ideas based on Brazilian social media trends, memes, creator formats, and platform-specific behaviors.
- Write and adapt captions in Brazilian Portuguese, aligned with Metricool's brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Act as a brand representative on camera, recording educational, promotional, and trend-based content.
- Record short-form video content (TikTok & Instagram Reels) on a weekly basis.
- Create occasional long-form video content (tutorials, feature explanations, or campaign support).
As Social Media Manager,
- Manage and grow Metricool's Brazilian social media channels, mainly Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Schedule and publish content according to the local content calendar.
- Monitor performance and identify which formats, topics, and narratives resonate most with the Brazilian audience.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments and relevant interactions when needed.
- Share insights, trends, and performance learnings with the global marketing team to inform experimentation and strategy.
Long story, short: How will your first days in Metricool look like?
- First month: For the first few weeks, we will ensure you understand your impact on the team and the business and learn about the team, the industry, and processes. You will meet every contributor on your team and understand their areas of expertise.
- First Quarter: Within the first three months, you will understand your team better, work autonomously, and begin sharing new ideas and creating a more significant impact.
- To the moon: After this process, you will become an active team member. You will also understand how to reach objectives and set your strategies based on the company's goals.
Job requirements. You'll be successful on your mission if you have:
- Must be located in Brazil.
- Experience: 3-5 years of previous experience in a Social Media Management & Content Creation role.
- Education: Degree in Digital Marketing or a similar field.
- Languages: Native Portuguese , advanced level in English. Advanced level in Spanish is a plus.
Hard skills:
- Strong experience managing social media accounts professionally.
- Proven experience creating short-form, mobile-first video content.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian social media culture, trends and creators ecosystems.
Soft skills:
- Strong storytelling and on-camera presence.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of cultural relevance.
- Ability to translate global brand messaging into local content.
- Proactivity, autonomy, and ownership.
- Flexibility and willingness to experiment and iterate.
