Global Information Security & Cybersecurity Lead

Location: Sant Cugat

Department: Security

Reports to: Global Data and Technology Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Global Information Security & Cybersecurity Manager to lead and oversee the security posture of our multinational organization. This role is responsible for managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS), driving ISO 27001 certification and other relevant security standards, and leading both internal and external security initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity and networking, proven experience in security audits, and the ability to manage external security partners effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the global information security strategy and operations.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the ISMS across all business units.
  • Drive and support ISO 27001 certification and other relevant security standards.
  • Manage and coordinate external security service providers and consultants.
  • Provide leadership and support during internal and external security audits.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor emerging threats and implement proactive security measures.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness programs and training.
  • Report to the Global Data and Technology director on security posture, incidents, and improvements.

Requirements:

    • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in information security and cybersecurity roles.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, network security, and security technologies.
  • Audit Experience: Proven experience in leading and supporting security audits.
  • Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or equivalent.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Languages: Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Communication, and project management skills.
