We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Compliance & Risk Specialist
to join our team within Bunge EMEA. In this role, you will support the operational implementation of risk & compliance legislation and ensure a correct, compliant, and well-controlled indirect tax administration. Working closely with, and reporting to, the Indirect Tax Transformation & Technology Manager ( who holds overall responsibility for compliance and risk ), you will play a key role in supporting our Bunge Business Services (BBS) teams. Your expertise will be vital in executing indirect tax processes and helping maintain a strong "in control" environment across our various countries and entities.

Main Accountabilities:
- Indirect Tax Compliance Execution: Ensure accurate and timely execution of VAT and other Indirect Tax obligations across Bunge EMEA, maintaining effective internal controls and a strong "in control" environment.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify compliance risks, resolve compliance issues, and take practical actions to minimize the organization's indirect tax exposure.
- Process Documentation and Improvement: Support the development and maintenance of process manuals, reporting guidelines, and operational procedures, while contributing to process optimization and automation initiatives.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong Indirect Tax Expertise: Solid understanding of VAT and other indirect taxes within the EMEA region, including compliance requirements and reporting processes.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Ability: Skilled in interpreting complex tax and financial data, identifying compliance risks, and providing practical, business-focused solutions.
- Process and Control Mindset: Able to assess and improve compliance processes, maintain effective internal controls, and contribute to process automation and standardization.
Technical Skills:
- MS Office, including advanced Excel proficiency.
- SAP experience.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, or Finance.
- Significant experience in Indirect Tax, preferably within an international environment.
- Proven experience in VAT compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems.
