About the role

We now have the opportunity for a
Backend Developer
*to join our Technology Department. We are looking for a highly driven,

talented

and experienced Engineer who can design and develop high-quality backend services and APIs. Someone ready to contribute to scalable architectures, cross-functional integration, and continuous delivery.*

The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres – our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe's largest IoT platforms, we're building something big, and we're just getting started in Alicante.

Candidate profile

You are an
experienced backend developer
with a solid foundation in designing
APIs, distributed systems, and microservices
*.

You're

comfortable working with
Java and relational databases
, and you understand how backend architecture integrates with mobile and web applications.*

You bring a
DevOps mindset
*, work comfortably in cross-functional teams, and contribute to product evolution and technical discussions.

You're

someone who values clean code, scalable solutions, and continuous delivery. Experience in multicultural, fast-paced environments is a plus.*

Essential Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience

as Java

engineer

• Solid hands-on experience with
