The Agile Delivery Center Spain @ Capgemini is a specialized hub located in Murcia and Valencia, focused on delivering innovative software solutions using Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.

We are looking for Software Engineers with at least 3 years of experience in software development projects, with fluent French, very passionate intechnology and interested to be involved in a high-tech talent ecosystem, multicultural environment, and in an active and dynamic and open-minded culture.

As Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining and optimizing Java-based applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting-edge technologies. In Agile environments. You will collaborate in defining and refining software architecture and design patterns. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

In our teams, a Software Engineer applies scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. He/she is responsible for research and acquire knowledge in its technical discipline. He/she collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

The Software Engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in our internal Professional Communities. 

As Senior Software Engineer you can also play Leading role in your team in technical matters.

• Developing and maintaining Software: Create and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies. Participate in the development of complex functionalities. Knowledge of development lifecycle. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust software solutions.
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security. Disseminate best practices and development processes.
• Technical Leadership: (for experienced profiles) provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices in coding and design. Help the team identify pending workin a project. Participate in the technical impact study that leads to the drafting of the budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software engineering practices. Proposeimprovements in application development

Has +3  years of relevant work experience. Is competent in it's own area and has an understanding of related programming concepts software design and software development principles. 

• Proficiency in Java: Extensive experience with Java 8-17 (streams, interfaces...), Spring frameworks and accustomed to working with Microservices Architecture. 
• Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies such as Scrum.
• Technical Knowledge: SOAP, REST, MAVEN, JSP, HTML, PL SQL. 
• Database Management: Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Testing and Debugging: experience in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git, GitLab, GitHub.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. 
• Fluent in French to communicate with teams and customers (English is a plus)
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
