Junior Digital Marketing Intern (Becario)

Refinery89 is looking for a proactive and creative Junior Digital Marketing Intern (Becario) to support our Marketing team in Madrid. This opportunity is designed for a recent graduate who wants to develop practical skills in digital marketing within a fast-growing AdTech environment. You'll work under the guidance of our Marketing Manager and collaborate with different teams while learning how marketing initiatives are planned, executed, and measured across EMEA.

This is an in-person internship based in our Madrid offices. Applicants must already reside in Madrid and have at least a C2 level of English.

Key Responsibilities (Learning Areas)
Under supervision, you will be:


• Supporting the marketing department's initiatives with the executing, and tracking of marketing activities.


• Creating content for a variety of platforms including blog and social media platforms. Ensuring content remains consistent across all platforms and is aligned to the company's tone of voice and personality.


• Actively participating in Reddit and other online forums.


• Assisting in creating and scheduling content for social media, newsletters, and our website's blog.


• Writing SEO optimized blogposts on a weekly basis on WordPress.


• Editing and proofreading content before publication to ensure clarity, grammatical accuracy, and brand consistency.


• Collaborating with internal teams on case studies, presentations, and internal communication materials.


• Helping create client and lead data bases.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Recent graduates or candidates eligible for an intern (becario) contract are welcome.

• Experience: Prior internships or academic projects in marketing, communication, or advertising will be considered a plus.

• Languages: Minimum C2 level of English.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Wordpress, SEM Rush, Google Analytics, Canva, or similar tools is an advantage.

• Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, social media, analytics).

• Organized and proactive approach to tasks.

• Creative mindset with interest in data-driven marketing.
