Why this role matters

As the Business Development Associate, you'll drive catering growth by bringing in new B2B customers and building partnerships that expand our reach in Barcelona. Your work directly impacts monthly revenue, repeat ordering, and brand visibility with offices and local organizations. You'll be a key link between our kitchen operations and the market, making sure what we sell matches what we can deliver at a high standard.

What you'll do

  • Identify and approach potential catering clients (especially offices, teams, and organizations) and convert them into recurring accounts
  • Sell catering services end-to-end: outreach, pitching, quoting, follow-up, and closing
  • Build partnerships and collaborations that generate catering leads (co-working spaces, gyms, event organizers, local communities)
  • Maintain and grow client relationships to increase repeat orders and average order value
  • Coordinate internally with the kitchen/ops team to ensure accurate delivery promises and smooth execution
  • Track sales activity and performance against KPIs to support bonus targets

What we're looking for (must-have)

  • English required; Spanish fluency (professional level) and confidence communicating with local businesses
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in B2B, hospitality, food, or services
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close
  • Interest in food and a clear understanding of how catering works operationally
  • Barcelona-based and starting from March

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to offices, HR/admin teams, or facility management
  • Existing local network in Barcelona (communities, companies, venues, co-working spaces)
  • Comfort working in an international team environment
