About the role

We're looking for an experienced Account Director, EMEA who can lead growth across our existing customer base and drive meaningful commercial impact, while unlocking value through Tastewise's solutions.

You'll partner with some of the most recognized F&B brands in the world, launching and scaling new initiatives within existing accounts, developing and executing innovative expansion strategies, and driving adoption of the Tastewise platform across multiple teams, regions, and business units. You'll collaborate closely with Account Managers, Product Marketing, Leadership and several divisions within Tastewise to identify growth opportunities, shape strategic account plans, and close high-impact deals that deepen customer engagement and product penetration. 

Your focus: driving adoption, expansion, upsell, cross-sell, and renewals across our mid-market commercial accounts. This is a highly commercial, consultative role- ideal for someone who thrives in strategic account management and growth.

  • Lead the full commercial customer lifecycle: driving adoption, value realization, QBRs, identifying new use cases and expansion (cross-sell and upsell), and renewals.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities across new teams, regions, and budget owners within existing accounts.
  • Build and execute detailed strategic account plans and to drive long-term retention and expansion.
  • Develop deep organizational mapping and multi-threaded relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing updates, and procurement processes confidently.
  • Accurately forecast renewal and expansion pipeline.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams to deliver customer value and adoption.
  • Translate customer challenges into value-driven solutions and communicate needs back to Product and leadership.
  • Contribute insights that inform company-wide growth strategy, GTM plays, and enterprise expansion frameworks.
  • Help build repeatable processes for expansion, forecasting, and account planning within the EMEA region.
  • Represent Tastewise as a consultative, strategic partner to mid-market customers.
Requirements
  • 4–5 years of experience in SaaS account management, commercial expansion, or commercial hybrid AE roles.
  • Proven success driving renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and multi-threaded expansion.
  • Strong commercial acumen with negotiation experience and comfort working with procurement.
  • A consultative seller who navigates complex organizations with ease.
  • Strong communicator who excels in cross-functional environments.
  • Energetic, curious, and comfortable working with evolving processes and structure.
  • Experience in F&B, CPG, marketing tech, insights, or related industries is a plus.
  • Hybrid in Madrid, Spain Office
  • Willing to travel for customer onsite meetings and industry events across EMEA when needed.
