As an Activity Manager, you will lead the activities team. You will manage a team of activity leaders and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of school activities, events and excursions. You will be responsible for the quality of both on and off-campus activities that our EF Language Abroad program students attend. You will engage with students daily on-campus, ensuring they receive the best customer service and support during their stay with us, while enjoying the best activities and events our campus location has to offer. The Activity Manager reports directly to the School Director.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Activity program and planning: Responsible for the overall creation and execution of activity programs, including daytime and evening activities, excursions, and school events.

Team leadership: Lead and manage the activity staff, which can include training, scheduling, performance monitoring, and fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.

Group Excursions: You will also lead groups of international students on a variety of activities and day trips.

Customer Service: Create a lively atmosphere during school activities and events, delivering excellent customer service and crafting truly memorable and joyful travel experiences

Safety and compliance: Ensure all activities and venues are safe, compliant with regulations, and properly staffed. This includes managing emergency duties and adhering to EF and local policies.

Activity Development: Research new destinations and suppliers to expand our exciting and culturally immersive activities and tours agenda.

Teamwork: Liaise with school co-leaders and the Activities Team to discuss how to improve future activities and give a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning.

School Spirit: Attend and assist the School Team with large events including Graduation Ceremonies.

Upholding School Policy: Ensure the EF Student Code of Conduct and local laws are always followed, informing the management immediately of any misconduct.

Budget and resource management: Manage budgets for the program and maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies.

Performance monitoring: Develop and manage performance monitoring plans, including creating indicators and databases, to ensure the program meets its objectives.

What We're Looking For:

3 years' work experience

Full fluency in Spanish (native or C1+)

Working fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking). An additional language will be a plus.

Experience leading and motivating a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills to plan, schedule, and execute a variety of activities.

Ability to work under pressure, be agile, and respond to issues as they arise.

A self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and on one's own initiative.

Proven experience in organizing and managing activity programs or events.

Event execution: Experience overseeing all procedures for an event from start to finish.

First aid: A first aid qualification is frequently a desired or required qualification.
