Collections Specialist

We are a dynamic and growing company based in Sant Cugat del Vallés, strongly committed to operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Our goal is to protect and optimize the company's assets and resources through structured and efficient collections and claims processes.

You will have the opportunity to lead collections and asset recovery processes, working proactively and independently. Your impact will be direct on the company's financial health and the efficiency of our legal and commercial operations.

Collections and claims management:

• Manage collections processes for contractual breaches, including financial penalties and asset recovery.

• Contact delinquent clients through various channels (email, phone, formal communications).

• Track overdue payments and unreturned assets, keeping each case fully updated.

• Propose improvements to internal collections processes to increase efficiency and recovery rates.

Collaboration with Legal team:

• Coordinate with the Legal department on complex cases to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Support extrajudicial claims and assist in documentation and procedural management.

Reporting & analysis:

• Maintain clear records of all cases and generate follow-up reports.

• Analyze payment default patterns and propose preventive or corrective actions.

Client negotiation and communication:

• Maintain professional relationships with clients to maximize recovery of amounts owed and assets.

• Apply negotiation skills to resolve cases effectively, minimizing financial and legal risk.

• Previous experience in collections, debt recovery, or overdue payments management.

• Knowledge and experience in extrajudicial claims.

• Problem-solving mindset, high pressure tolerance, and strong negotiation skills.

• Experience in credit, financing, or collections companies is a plus (Cofidis, financial institutions, leasing companies, etc.).

• Experience in recovering physical assets (IT equipment or similar).

• Ability to implement improvements in workflows and management processes.
