The Role
We're looking for an experienced Sales Consultant
to join our growing European team, based in
Barcelona
. You'll be responsible for developing new business across Spain and the wider Southern Europe region, building relationships with leading media agencies and tourism or hospitality brands.
This role requires a strong network within the media and advertising ecosystem, ideally with proven experience selling digital or performance-based marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with media agencies, tourism boards, and hospitality brands.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from prospecting through to close.
- Represent TravelAd at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across Spain and Europe.
- Work closely with the central marketing and partnerships teams to deliver tailored proposals and impactful campaigns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel, hospitality, and tourism trends to identify commercial opportunities.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in media sales, digital marketing, or business development.
- Strong network within media agencies and advertisers across Spain.
- Proven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in tourism, travel, or hospitality sectors is strongly preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Additional languages such as French, Italian, or Portuguese are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team.
