What You'll Do

  • Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code
  • Provide technical analysis and documentation for new systems
  • Mentor and guide game developers, offering technical direction and career development support
  • Coordinate and negotiate with external team members across engineering, production, build, art, and QA
  • Support sprint planning, technical prioritization, and roadmap execution
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standard practices
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the development cycle
  • Champion quality, scalability, and performance across all systems
  • Partner with production to coordinate and deliver engineering deliverables on schedule

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • 2+ years in a leadership or management role
  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science
  • Experience with microservice architecture
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
  • Dedication to streamlining development efforts and reducing Time to Market
  • Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team culture
  • Adaptability to respond quickly to changes in project scope, requirements, or market conditions
