The operations manager is responsible for leading daily operations at Akiro Madrid while supporting the brand's international growth. This role ensures operational excellence, consistent guest experience, and alignment with Akiro's standards across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Madrid Operations


• Supervise and manage daily operations of Akiro Madrid, ensuring smooth and efficient service.


• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, floor service, beverage service, and overall guest experience.


• Train, coach, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver Akiro's signature service style.


• Monitor inventory, oversee purchasing


• Enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols


• Manage budgets and operational KPIs (food cost, beverage cost, labor %, pax/day, guest satisfaction).


• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

International Support & Expansion


• Travel to support new restaurant openings (training, onboarding, systems setup, SOP implementation).


• Conduct operational audits in international locations to ensure adherence to Akiro brand standards.


• Assist in developing global SOPs, service guidelines, and operational playbooks.


• Work closely with local operating partners to maintain consistency in product, service, ambiance, and energy.


• Provide feedback and performance reports to the Akiro executive team regarding international markets.

Requirements & Qualifications


• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.


• Previous experience overseeing daily operations in a high-volume or premium restaurant.


• Proven track record in team leadership, staff training, and operational excellence.


• Strong understanding of food & beverage operations, inventory, and cost control.


• Fluent in Spanish and English (required).


• Willing and able to travel internationally as needed.


• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and restaurant hours.


• Passion for hospitality, detail-oriented execution, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
