Descripción del empleoDevOps Engineer Skill Set
Core Skills:
- Containerization and Orchestration:
- Proficient in Kubernetes (setup, configuration, maintenance, scaling, monitoring).
- Strong experience with Docker (image creation, management, optimization).
- Experience in creating and managing Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.CI/CD Tools:
- Expertise in GitLab CI/CD:
- Designing and maintaining GitLab pipelines.
- Automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Strong understanding of pipeline optimization and integration.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and maintaining infrastructure state.
- Scripting:
- Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and tooling.
Nice to Have:
- Programming and Build Tools:
- Knowledge of Java development workflows and debugging.
- Familiarity with Gradle for build and dependency management.
- Experience with Spring Boot for application deployment and integration.
- Event-Driven Architectures:
- Understanding and experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and stream processing.
- Monitoring and Observability:
- Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar for system monitoring and logging.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, and QA engineers).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in documenting workflows, processes, and architecture.
