1 Program Manager

We are currently seeking a Program Manager in Madrid, this individual will be responsible for the overall process, continuation improvements and execution efficiency of our program. Provide leadership, planning, training, risk mitigation, effective communication and provide coaching to all cross-functional team members to promote a culture of being transparent and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple product development teams via the product life cycle process from concept/incubation to product delivery and ongoing support
• Manage programs involving cross-functional disciplines that include Product Management, Software, Quality Assurance, UI/UX Design, Sales and Support. Additional teams will be included such as Hardware, Industrial Design, Sourcing, and Supply Chain Operation are for the programs with Hardware development.
• Management of multiple remote cross functional teams is required
• Create, develop, integrate and manage (track) schedule for program and product delivery.
• Assist the Product Management / Engineering / Quality Assurance teams to work with customers to facilitate requirement review, technical discussion, triage reviews and program status update
• Create risk management list and mitigation plans. Decide upon and execute mitigation plans, when required.
• Report program status to multi-tiered audiences composed of cross functional team members, peers, executive staff audiences and multi-tiered customer audiences
• Participate in process and business workflow improvements in product life cycle and process improvements
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree with an engineering and /or business related concentration
• 8 – 10 years of team leadership experience in managing one or more of the cross functional team to deliver the product successfully
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a role as a successful, demonstrated program manager with involvement from initial concept through product delivery.

• Program management experience should include:

• Background and technical strength in one or more of the following - software, hardware, QA, hardware engineering, networking systems. Experience in SW Agile development. Registered scrum master is a plus.

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent programs (usually at different stages of the life cycle)
• Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix management environment
• Understanding of program requirements involving internal and external customers and the ability to communicate these to multiple tiered audiences
• Ability to develop program plans with concentration on meeting product performance, development of schedule goals
• Demonstration of collaborative team building skills
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a productive manner
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Proven ability to build collaboration among team members

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Fluency in both English and Spanish

• Ability to work in hybrid in Madrid.
