Job Description

Work Region: Spain

What you will be doing:
  • Prepare annual plans, budgets, monthly forecasts, and action plans in collaboration with the Diagnostic Business Manager.
  • Drive sales of products and services independently, including after-sales support, acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Plan and conduct regular customer visits to maintain and develop strong client relationships.
  • Organize and execute promotional and marketing activities in coordination with the Diagnostic Product Manager.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, roadshows, and conferences; maintain a strong network with end users.
  • Deliver product presentations and technical training sessions; provide support independently or in collaboration with the team.
  • Submit regular reports, including weekly updates, to the Diagnostic Business Manager.
  • Stay informed on PHC Europe biomedical products and competitive developments through ongoing training and market research.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives through targeted advertisements, mailings, and event participation.
First Year Objectives:
  • Strong knowledge of the regional market and its key players.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
  • Effectively utilize distributor administrative resources through defined processes.
  • Demonstrated drive and ownership in managing the territory.
  • Deliver clear, well-structured monthly reports and manage time and priorities efficiently.

Social interaction:

External contacts

  • Visit distributors and end-users in your region.
  • Represent PHC Europe to the customers.

Internal contacts

  • Works closely with the entire Diagnostic team (manager, Product manager, Application engineer..) and keeps him well informed about the activities to achieve unit / volume goals.

What you will need for success:

  • A higher professional education in a relevant field (e.g. Laboratory Science, Biology, Life Sciences).
  • Proven experience in a sales role within the relevant industry; strong commercial skills are essential.
  • Experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and Point-of-Care (POC) sector is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with skills in CRM systems, record keeping, and planning.
  • Native-level proficiency in Spanish and fluency in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
  • Self-organized, able to set clear priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Energetic, driven, results-oriented, and skilled in building strong relationships and networks.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Tenacious, with a pioneering attitude toward business development.
  • Willing to travel extensively; valid Class B driving license required.
  • Product training will be provided.
