Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Writer role located in Madrid. The Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing content that highlights the institute's research initiatives, achievements, and events. Tasks include drafting research summaries, news articles, press releases, and website content, as well as developing tailored communication materials for various audiences. The Writer will collaborate with researchers and other departments to ensure effective dissemination of information, supporting the institute's mission to impact both the scientific community and society.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional skills in Writing, Creative Writing, and Editing
  • Proficiency in Content Creation, Research, and Content Strategy
  • Experience with Public Relations, Marketing Communication, and Digital Platforms
  • Strong ability to communicate complex scientific topics clearly to diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or additional languages is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multicultural and interdisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field; advanced degrees are advantageous
