Description

TPI Composites is the leading wind-blade manufacturer and the only independent wind blade manufacturer with a global footprint. TPI, is also committed to bring the same excellence in field services, based in our experience with composite materials, wind blades and a close and personalized costumer service.

In addition to regular Field Service Technician tasks, leads teams of 3-5 Field Service Technicians on small projects or partial scopes of larger projects. Takes ownership of key safety, quality, and efficiency results for their assigned scope and crew. Facilitates communication and logistics for all issues related to their assigned scope and crew.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety & quality standards and processes are maintained
  • Delivering daily operational performance to meet requirements of forecast and planning, with focus on cost and efficiency
  • Delivery to commitments on turbine performance
  • Continually implementing change management in line with operations development
  • Developing the skills and competencies necessary within your teams to meet operations goals
  • Responsibility for recruitment and leadership of local service technicians and hub support roles
  • Team building, motivation, employee satisfaction & development etc.
  • Ensure the flow of materials, consumption and minimum stock levels in assigned projects. 
  • Provide remote and in-person support and troubleshoot in the projects that may require it.

Qualifications

  • Valid GWO BST. Advanced rescue would be desirable. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in job offered or similar occupation in wind industry.
  • Leadership skills & experience
  • Experience in team building, motivating, and building employee satisfaction & development
  • Good spoken and written communication skills in English & Spanish
  • MS Office knowledge and practical experience is highly desired - willingness to learn
  • High degree of Safety Awareness
