Head of Multinational Excellence Centre

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multinational Insurance Business leader to drive the launch and operational excellence of our new Madrid-based Multinational Client Centre servicing 25+ countries globally.

Your Team
Reporting to the Head of Multinational Transformation, Performance and Business Excellence at Allianz Commercial, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming our Multinational client servicing model. In this executive-level role, you will establish and scale our new Madrid-based Multinational Excellence Centre, leading strategic task migration and process harmonization initiatives that drive our client servicing efficiency across our global locations.

The Impact You Will Have
In this role, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to establish a 50+ person centre of excellence delivering consistent, high-quality client servicing while orchestrating the strategic consolidation of activities from our local Multinational entities.

Key Responsibilities
Will Include

• Task migration and process harmonization: Eliminate fragmentation across markets by standardizing processes and consolidating activities into the Madrid hub
• Change leadership: Drive adoption and engagement across a geographically dispersed stakeholder landscape, managing resistance and building buy-in for the new operating model
• Strategic technology deployment: Leverage advanced technologies, including Generative AI, to drive innovation, enhance productivity, and enable sustainable competitive advantage

Your Specific Responsibilities

• Build and operate the Madrid hub: Establish operational infrastructure, define service delivery standards, and drive peak efficiency from day one
• Lead strategic task migration: Coordinate the consolidation of activities across regions, harmonize processes, and eliminate redundancy across markets
• Drive change at scale: Champion transformation across geographically dispersed stakeholders, build buy-in, and manage complex, multi-country organizational change
• Deploy technology for competitive advantage: Leverage advanced technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance service quality, drive productivity, and enable innovation
• Align enterprise capabilities: Collaborate with global functions to standardize roles, harmonize processes, and create a unified operating model across the organization

What You'll Bring To The Role
We are seeking a senior leader with deep, hands-on expertise in managing complex Multinational insurance accounts—ideally from Allianz or similar organizations. You are an impact-driven, results-oriented leader who thrives in multicultural environments and excels at driving organizational transformation. You bring:

• Strategic vision and execution: A forward-thinking strategist capable of crafting and executing long-term organizational goals while driving operational excellence and innovation
• Technology leadership: Demonstrated expertise leveraging advanced technologies, including Generative AI, to drive innovation and enhance productivity
• Operational scaling: Proven track record establishing and scaling operational hubs with a relentless focus on service-oriented excellence
• Enterprise leadership: Skilled at managing large teams, governing KPIs/SLAs, resolving conflicts, and managing budgets effectively
• Change leadership: Proven ability to lead organizational transformation across geographically dispersed teams while fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability
• Stakeholder collaboration: Exceptional diplomatic and communication skills to navigate regional tensions, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate effectively with global functions—including Network Management, Underwriting, FinOps, and Claims.
