Senior BI Engineer

We are building the next generation of Mews Business Intelligence and looking for a Senior BI Engineer, someone with experience developing similar products that transform data into real solutions. This position sits at the intersection of data engineering, backend development, and product. The objective is to build reliable data pipelines, clear data models, and backend services that enable our customers to make better decisions through data.
Our stack includes dbt, Databricks, Kafka, CDC, .NET Core, Azure, and GoodData. What matters most is your ability to design and deliver effective data systems, regardless of the specific tools you have used before.
What you will do
Build and optimize data pipelines, both batch and real-time.
Model and transform data using dbt and Databricks to simplify analytics for customers.
Develop and deploy backend services in .NET Core on Azure.
Automate data and deployment workflows with CI/CD.
Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and design to turn ideas into working BI products.
Take ownership of projects from design to delivery, ensuring technical quality and reliability.
What you bring
Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
Experience building or scaling BI or data products for external users.
Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT pipelines and event streaming.
Solid understanding of backend development (.NET or similar).
Curiosity, autonomy, and a product-oriented mindset.
