ROLE SUMMARY:
A leading British international school in Madrid is seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, with a special focus on French and German. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing school with a strong academic reputation, offering an international and supportive teaching environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach French and German across KS3–KS5 (IGCSE / A Level or equivalent)
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support mixed-ability learners
- Prepare pupils for external examinations and track academic progress
- Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
- Support pupils' linguistic, cultural and global awareness
- Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Degree in French, German or a related subject, with QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching French and German in a British or international curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Commitment to pastoral care, collaboration and professional development
