This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid,Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will do
- Validate control systems for ICE and hybrid powertrains in integration with vehicles.
- Calibrate engine control unit software strategies for optimal engine and battery operation.
- Propose settings to meet client specifications and improve product performance.
- Participate in developing new engine control software strategies.
- Instrument vehicles for validation and manage inter-system configurations.
- Build and manage validation schedules aligned with project requirements.
- Execute tests using Inca, DDT2000, DiagRA, and CANalyzer, and analyze results.
- Report non-conformities and ensure consistency with validation plans.
What we're looking for
- A proven track record in system validation and software calibration for powertrain systems.
- Engineering degree (preferably Electronic, Aeronautic, or Telecommunication Engineering).
- Excellent skills in CAN network analysis and use of validation tools (Inca, CANalyzer).
- Strong competencies in problem-solving and communication, with a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
