AI Technical Business Analyst

  • 2x per week in the Valencia office

Our client, a IT consultancy is looking for a AI Technical Business Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

You'll the link between business stakeholders, engineering teams for the internal AI tooling ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to , evaluate, and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements for AI-driven automation initiatives.
  • Conduct business process analysis by documenting current-state and future-state workflows, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation leveraging ML, LLMs, and orchestration platforms.
  • Support solution design by converting business needs into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and high-level solution designs in collaboration with architects and development teams.
  • Drive change management and adoption by creating training materials, supporting organisational transition, and tracking adoption metrics for both deployed automations and internal MCP tools.
  • Ensure governance and compliance by validating that solutions and generated artefacts meet security, GDPR, model governance, and ethical AI standards.
  • Manage stakeholders through clear and proactive communication with internal teams, partners, and external clients, identifying and escalating risks and dependencies as needed.

Experience and Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including a 2 years delivering AI, data, or automation-focused initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience defining or using AI-assisted documentation and code-generation tools (such as MCP, GitHub Copilot, or LangChain) to accelerate software delivery.
  • Practical understanding of AI/ML platforms and services, including Anthropic/OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and related frameworks.
  • Strong capability in business process modelling (BPMN), user story mapping, and backlog management using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and at least one scripting language (preferably Python) for data analysis and output validation.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience operating within Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, Agile BA, UiPath Business Analyst) are considered an advantage.
