Product Operations Associate

To drive this transformation, we're hiring a Product Operations Associate to join our Product Ops team and help build the systems, automations, and data infrastructure that will carry Nuva into its next phase of growth.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role at the intersection of data, automation, and operations. You'll work within the Product Ops team, which sits directly under the COO and acts as the critical link between Operations and Tech. You'll develop a holistic view of the business, guided by senior leadership, with real agency to shape how we build and scale.

Your primary focus will be on two core areas: (1) data management — building and maintaining our data infrastructure, from system connections to transforming raw data into reliable, usable outputs; and (2) automation — designing and implementing workflows that eliminate manual work and leverage AI to work smarter. Over time, you'll grow into broader product responsibilities as you build context across the organization.

What You'll Do

Data Management

• Build and maintain data pipelines: system connections, ETL/ELT processes, data injections, and table configurations from raw to gold.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries (PostgreSQL/Supabase) to support reporting, analytics, and operational needs.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across our systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
• Support data analytics initiatives that drive business decisions.

Automation

• Design and implement workflow automations using n8n (preferred) or similar platforms (Make, Zapier).
• Build and maintain AI-powered automations, including custom AI agents integrated into operational workflows.
• Develop effective prompts and agent architectures that reliably solve real business problems.
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual processes across the organization.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain clear, thorough documentation of systems, workflows, and processes in Notion.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand their needs and ensure solutions are grounded in real pain points.
• Collaborate on initiatives directly with the COO and broader leadership team.

Who we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in a data, operations, or technical role — ideally in fast-paced startups or scale-ups.
• Strong relational database skills
  : comfortable writing complex SQL queries, working with PostgreSQL/Supabase, and understanding data modeling.
• Hands-on automation experience
  : you've built workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar tools.
• AI-native
  : you use LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) daily as core tools, not just curiosities. Familiarity with building AI agents and prompt engineering is a strong plus.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline architecture.
• Strong documentation habits — you believe good docs are as important as good code.
• A structured, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working autonomously in a growing organization.

Nice to have

• Background in engineering (industrial, software, etc.) or strong analytical training.
• Experience with n8n specifically.
• Familiarity with Notion for documentation and internal tooling.
• Exposure to product work — UI/UX flows, internal tools, or app development.
• Experience building agentic workflows or AI-powered process automation.
