Role Description
Abt Global is seeking a dedicated Career Development Specialist for a full-time, on-site position located in Melbourne, VIC. The specialist will be responsible for providing career counseling and coaching to clients, facilitating job search strategies, and delivering development programs tailored to enhance skills and employability. Additional duties include conducting one-on-one consultations, creating personalized development plans, and collaborating with external organizations to ensure successful career placements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Career Development and Career Counseling.
- Strong Communication and Coaching skills to guide and support clients effectively.
- Knowledge of Job Search Strategies and the application of methods to optimize career opportunities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with both clients and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to tailor development plans and track progress.
- Experience in workforce development or human resources is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
