About the role

We are seeking for a seasoned Salesforce Technical Specialist with experience in GxP practices to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in implementing robust solutions for our CRM needs, including overseeing the integration of Salesforce/Veeva with existing systems such as SAP. If you bring a wealth of experience in Salesforce development in regulated industry and possess the technical aptitude to guide our projects from inception through deployment then we are very exited to get to know you

Your key responsibilities:

Architecture and Design:

  • Lead the technical architecture and design of Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure designs are aligned with both business objectives, GxP & technical standards.

Development and Customization:

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using APEX, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Apply the 80/20 rule for out-of-the-box configurations versus custom development.

Integration:

  • Oversee data migration and integration tasks, ensuring seamless interoperability between Salesforce and other CRMs like Veeva.
  • Utilize APIs and middleware for integration with third-party systems.

Testing and QA:

  • Support documenting OQ & PQ testing.
  • Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Resolve anomalies identified during various testing phases, including functional, integration, and non-functional tests.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Documentation and Training:

  • Create comprehensive GxP technical documentation.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and junior developers.

Maintenance:

  • Manage the post-implementation support, including L2 and L3 support.
  • Handle minor enhancements and bug fixes as required.
Your skills and experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Over 5 or more years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce, Veeva platform & marketing Automation platforms like marketing cloud, salesforce marketing cloud will be added advantage.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce integrations and data migration.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, gearset).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
