SAP Specialist Master Data

For REWE digital Spain, a subsidiary of REWE Group, located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga we are looking for a SAP Specialist Master Data.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group, one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees.  

 Our team of more than 2,200 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector. Today, we manage more than 80 logistics centers and more than 23,000 local network connections to ensure the continuous supply of data to the 32,000 scanner checkout counters in more than 7,300 stores.

From legal entities and cost centers to customers, suppliers, and investment relationships, we ensure everything is connected and accurate. Our work supports key areas like procurement, sales, and billing.

• You will make the difference, because you actively contribute to the steady development of our SAP systems each day and drive our cloud transformation to S4/Hana by configuring and customizing applications – as always at our company, the motto is: Trying is better than studying You are not afraid to try out an idea without knowing every detail and see potential failure as a learning opportunity. 
• You stay on top of things and keep a constant eye on the quality of our IT solutions. This enables you to work closely with the specialist departments to come up with valuable ideas for further improvements.
• You play an active role in the resulting projects for the further development of the IT landscape and drive innovation forward 
• You design the best IT solutions, whether for large-scale projects or small change requests from the departments, by aligning the requirements of stakeholders, technical requirements of our SAP systems and projects, and requirements of our general IT strategy including security-relevant aspects. 
• You maintain an overview and find simple words for complex relationships. By documentation and visualizations, you will be able to illustrate complex structures and processes as a competent advisor.
• You ensure the smooth operation of our systems and provide 2nd and 3rd level support for "your" systems, turning into an SAP-Detective once in a while to find the cause of tricky problems in complex systems and processes linked by variety of dependencies.

• You have first experience with master data management in SAP (desirable already with Master Data Governance), solid experience in independent customizing and configuring in SAP FI CO, are familiar with the SAP standards and, ideally, also familiar with S4/Hana. Additional data modelling and data warehousing are nothing new to you. 
• You are familiar with the methods of requirements engineering. As a strong communicator, you know how to skillfully manage stakeholders and translate their requirements into IT solutions. 
• You are a team player. The challenges of an international team in which cooperation, mutual support and teamwork are nevertheless still of crucial importance only make things more interesting for you. ·
• Your analytical perspective, your technical understanding and willingness to think outside the box, constantly learn new things and approach challenges with curiosity help you to stay on top of things, be in line with the latest developments and keep abreast of state-of-the-art technology. 
• You enjoy working with Miro and Jira, and your excellent written and spoken English skills round off your profile – we would be celebrating you for additional German language skills.
