YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, we are building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store in their city delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.

Ads and GUAPO (Whole App Optimization) are at the core of our platform monetization and user experience optimization. As a Senior Product Manager for Ads & GUAPO, you'll own the high-growth, strategic monetization engine of our customer app and the data-driven orchestration system that optimizes and personalizes the experience for every user session. This means that you will oversee all ad placements, including Partner Ads (restaurants, stores) and Brand Ads (FMCGs, fintech partners) across the platform, as well as GUAPO, our ML-powered framework that dynamically decides what content to show users to maximize engagement and conversion.

You'll have the opportunity to build cutting-edge monetization and optimization capabilities that drive +200M€ in revenue across Europe, Africa and Asia. From developing sophisticated ad targeting and personalization features to creating the orchestration logic that optimizes the entire app experience, you'll shape how customers discover content while balancing user experience with commercial objectives.

THE JOURNEY

Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for Ads and GUAPO, strategically aligning monetization goals with user experience globally across +20 diverse markets.

Monetization Innovation: Lead the development of advanced ad capabilities including dynamic ad placement, user segmentation, programmatic advertising, attribution tracking, and premium ad formats (banners, videos, new sponsored placements and real estate).

Optimization Excellence: Oversee GUAPO as the central orchestrator for the app, using ML to personalize what content, widgets, and ads users see to maximize conversion while maintaining a delightful user experience.

Customer & Advertiser Balance: Conduct research and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improving ad relevance and placement while maintaining user satisfaction and trust.

Feature Development: Lead the development of new ad formats and GUAPO capabilities that measurably increase monetization, enhance discoverability, and improve overall platform performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Commercial teams, Design, and UX Research to deliver high-quality monetization experiences that scale globally.

Performance Optimization: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including ad revenue, click-through rates, conversion rates, user engagement metrics, and GUAPO optimization performance to drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with commercial stakeholders, sales teams, and business partners across different markets to understand advertiser needs and ensure successful product delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Experience: 6+ years delivering highly successful and innovative consumer-facing products, with demonstrated experience in ads platforms, monetization, ML optimization systems, or related domains
  • Technical Background: Strong technical foundation with experience working on advertising technologies, recommendation systems, ML orchestration, or similar platforms
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • Ads & Optimization Expertise: Deep understanding of digital advertising, programmatic ads, ad serving technologies, and ML-based optimization systems. Strong understanding of AdTech ecosystems: campaign lifecycle, targeting, measurement, attribution, real-time bidding, etc.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Solid experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and using metrics to drive product decisions and optimize monetization performance
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions balancing competing priorities, and drive product initiatives from conception to launch
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to align diverse stakeholders (commercial, product, engineering) and clearly explain complex technical and business concepts
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously across different markets
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience navigating complex technical, business, and ethical challenges in advertising and optimization
