Senior Manager, Data Product

We are looking for a
Senior Manager, Data Product & Platforms,
to join us in Barcelona.

In this role, you'll help shape the future of data innovation in Life Sciences and Healthcare while joining a global organization where your expertise will influence strategic decisions, lead high-impact projects, and define the roadmap for innovative, data-driven solutions.

You'll lead the strategy and delivery of our next-generation data products — defining how our products and customers integrate, analyse, and unlock insights from our data platform.

You'll work across product, engineering, and data science to drive innovation and deliver scalable, intelligent data solutions.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field
• 10 years of work experience in product management and data architecture, AI/ML
• Strong technical understanding of data architecture, APIs, and AI/ML integration.
• Customer facing experience
• Experience in LS&H industry
• Experience in managing global teams

What will you be doing in this role?

• Manage the data platforms for R&D business by integrating the customer needs/feedback with the development needed in the product
• Develop Data platforms, roadmaps and educate internal stakeholders (e.g., sales and marketing, consulting) on technology, platform, and new product opportunities
• Support the formulation of a data strategy with solid industry and technical knowledge, providing recommendations for new business opportunities and keeping abreast of rapidly emerging technologies
• Research and articulate the market, user, and competitive environment and collaborates with Customer Care, Pre-Sales, Solution Analysts, and UX Design teams to create solutions that meet the customer needs
• Work with the Go-To-Market, Sales (e.g., Product Sales and Account Managers), and Marketing teams
• Review and prioritize product specifications and work with the product development teams to define charters and delivery timelines aligned with milestones and budget
• Track sales performance and client usage
• Capture use cases that can form future enhancements
• Respond to any questions and requests from company-wide stakeholders, including Customer Care, Training, Pre-Sales, Customer Success Teams, and Sales teams

About The Team
The Senior Product Manager, R&D Data Platform will be part of the Life Sciences and Healthcare R&D team and reporting to the General Manager, R&D.

The team is responsible for driving R&D business growth, working alongside all key editorial, commercial, marketing, sales, and technology stakeholders to ensure the continued success and growth of Clarivate's Lie Sciences solutions.

The team plays a key part in Clarivate's future R&D and BD&L solutions and supports the wider organization with thought leadership as well as interacting with customers and sales to support new sales, revenue, and retention, gather market intelligence and validate current approaches.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid going to our office in Barcelona (next to Sagrada Familia) 2-3 times per week.
