We are seeking an experienced, hands on and dynamic European Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our homecare operations across multiple countries in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Homecare operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the homecare industry. The European Operations Manager will be reporting to Chief Operating Officer, based in Madrid Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies
    : Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of homecare services across Europe, ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Set clear, action-oriented goals for each region to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations:
    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and customers (patients, doctors, hospital,…) satisfaction. Implement regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of regional managers
    : Provide guidance and support to achieve operational goals, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement and customers satisfactions.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics:
    build European homecare operations dashboard, Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions, with a particular focus on safety-related metrics such as incident rates, compliance with safety protocols and customers satisfaction. Develop action plans to address any identified issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance service delivery, ensuring that safety considerations, operational efficiency and customers satisfactions are integrated into all aspects of operations. Work closely with the safety team to develop and implement safety training programs for all employees and with Homecare Business development to sustain growth strategy
  • Manage budgets and resources:
    Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality care standards, with a focus on allocating resources to support safety initiatives. Monitor and control expenses related to safety equipment and training. Monitor and is warrant of CAPEX expenditure process at European level. Ensure continuous resources / CAPEX improvement by identifying innovative ways of working, service delivering and innovative tools.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners:
    Ensure customers (patients, doctors, hospital) satisfaction and business growth, with a commitment to providing safe and reliable homecare services. Communicate safety policies and procedures to clients and stakeholders to build trust and confidence.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
    : Incorporate them into operational strategies, with a particular focus on emerging safety standards, technologies and customers differentiation. Participate in Homecare suppliers evaluation and products portfolio selection. Participate in industry forums and networks to stay informed about the latest safety developments. Is a driving force to introduce innovative tools and processes (remote monitoring, telemedicine,…), ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Develop
    best practices sharing
    between the different countries, ensuring maturity operation development within Europe for the different services and supporting Homecare business growth strategy.
  • Homecare new projects deployment responsible
    : is in charge of ensuring new homecare projects deployment on the field with PM methodology, in strong collaboration with country operations managers (new geographies, new tools,…

Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably in the homecare or healthcare services industry.
  • Knowledge of European regulations and standards related to homecare services.

  • Agile, Hands on, Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Appetite for medical business and innovative tools / processes (patient monitoring, connected devices,…),
  • Customers satisfaction driven.
  • Language requirements: full professional proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of any other European language is a plus.

Others:
Availability to travel abroad 20-25% of the time.
