Job Summary:
As Junior Finance Manager – Europe, you will oversee day-to-day finance operations managed by external providers, ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards, and support key financial projects and initiatives across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional with around one year of experience or solid expertise as a Senior Finance or Controlling Specialist who is ready to take on a managerial role.
What You Will Do
- Oversee monthly financial operations performed by external accounting providers, ensuring compliance with local regulations, accounting principles, and Group policies.
- Coordinate and execute month end and year end closing activities, including revenue and premium controls, review of financial statements, and data mapping into the corporate ERP system.
- Supervise the preparation of annual financial statements for European entities at the regional level.
- Manage the submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations across the Group's European entities.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of the monthly financial plan and contribute to forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Provide assistance and financial guidance to internal departments, particularly Sales, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Support external stakeholders (clients and agencies), ensuring timely and accurate responses to finance related inquiries.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to financial projects that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 1 year of experience in a similar role within a multinational environment, or equivalent experience as a Senior Finance/Controlling Specialist ready for a management role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Navision is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken); other European languages are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and financial skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Valuable Experience
- Previous experience in multinational or international teams.
- Familiarity with Navision, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Exposure to the AdTech or Media sector.
