We have worked for prestigious & high-volume events, from Corporate events (Microsoft, Cisco, SAP), to B2B professional events (Mobile World Congress, Websummit, ISE) to large Medical Congresses & Exhibitions (CPHI, EASL) and sporting events & festivals (Roland Garros).

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with hotels, whilst negotiating and contracting rooms for large events in Barcelona and across EMEA with the fairest conditions available for the event organiser.
  • Draw up proposals and quotes adapted to the needs of participants.
  • Sending of commercial proposals.
  • Dealing with clients' requests (groups or individuals).
  • Resolve participants' problems in conjunction with partners.
  • Draw up contracts.
  • Up to date deposit calculation.
  • Payment chasing follow up.
  • Invoicing.

Profile:

  • An operational profile with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 1 year's experience in a similar position or relevant experience & knowledge in hotel reservation & contracting (IE: an Accommodation Project Manager or Hotel Reservation Manager).
  • Some knowledge of hotels and of the B2B Event (MICE) industry.
  • Some local market & industry know-how.
  • Adaptability & versatility, patience, rigor & accuracy.
  • Fluent English (oral and written) required; another foreign language is a plus.
  • Perfect command of Office (Outlook, Excel, Word,…)
