We are constantly pushing the boundaries, conducting hundreds of AB tests, and identifying opportunities to enhance the experience for both our students and tutors.As a member of the Supply Operations squad, you'll lead theSupply Communications & Engagement team, which is responsible for delivering life-changing learning and engagement experiences forover 100,000 tutors all over the world. In this role, you will shape how wecommunicate with, enable, and engagetutors at scale - ensuring they feel confident, connected, and empowered to succeed on Preply.You'll manage a high-performing team of senior specialists across communications, instructional design, and community engagement. Working closely with Brand, Product, CRM, and CX, you'll deliver proactive enablement, high-impact programs, and scalable go-to-market strategies for new features, policies, and tutor segments.What you'll be doing:Team Leadership & StrategyCoach and grow team members, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovationOwn and articulate the long-term vision for how Preply enables and engages its tutor base through learning, communication, and connectionEvaluate current tools, channels, and workflows and propose scalable improvements that enhance consistency, speed, and qualityCross-functional Program OwnershipOwn and lead strategic tutor-facing initiatives, collaborating closely with Brand, CRM, Product, and CX teams (eg. mentorship programme)Shape and execute multi-channel go-to-market campaigns and adoption strategies for new tutor policies, features, and teaching contentWork with Product and CX teams to proactively identify and address tutor pain points via targeted communication and engagement initiativesTutor Engagement & CommunicationsOversee the design and execution of flagship tutor engagement initiatives (online or offline): community platform, Tutor Cafés, Mentorship Programme and the annual Tutor Conference (>15K attendees)Lead the launch of a new LMS and the migration of key tutor-facing content, while ensuring the design and delivery of engaging, scalable tutor learning experiencesOwn the strategy and quality of tutor-facing messaging across all relevant channels - including email, in-product, webinars, social, and community touchpointsScale Preply's online tutor community as an inclusive space for peer connection, knowledge-sharing, and tutor-led support - fostering positive sentiment, a sense of belonging, and tutor-driven engagement across the platformWhat you need to succeed:Proven experience in content creation and managing communications, engagement or CRM teams with demonstrated success in leading through change and growthMinimum 3 years of people management experienceTrack record of scaling programs that engage large external audiences (e.g. customers, educators, communities, or creators)Deep understanding of multi-channel content strategy, go-to-market (GTM) execution, and audience segmentationStrong program and stakeholder management skills with the ability to align cross-functional partners around shared goalsExcellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal, with a sharp eye for clarity, consistency, and toneStrategic thinker with a strong bias toward action, iteration, and continuous improvementComfort using metrics and tools to assess program effectiveness and inform iteration (e.g. Looker)Experience with learning platforms (LMS), online community engagement tools, or content management systemsFamiliarity with fast-paced, cross-functional environments such as tech, edtech, marketplaces, or consultingDeep empathy for educators or service providers, and an ability to advocate for their experience in cross-functional settingsNice to Have:Experience organising large-scale events, virtual conferences, or mid-scale community activationsFamiliarity with online reputation management (ORM), social listening tools, or external communications strategyExperience collaborating with CRM or lifecycle marketing teamsUnderstanding of brand voice and tone governance in global organisationsWhy you'll love it at Preply:An open, collaborative, dynamic and diverse culture;A generous monthly allowance for lessons on , Learning & Development budget and time off for your self-development;A competitive financial package with equity, leave allowance and health insurance;Not in Barcelona?
