We are seeking a superior technician to join the Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology Research Group focused on the identification of novel biomarkers, including brain imaging–based markers and biomarkers circulating in blood or extracellular vesicles, for the early diagnosis of stroke subtypes and/or early prediction of stroke outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biosciences, Neuroscience, or a related field
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong background in Neuroscience
- Collaborative and proactive team player, able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication, organizational, time-management, and task-planning and prioritization skills
- Experience in biomarker quantification, extracellular vesicle isolation, tissue culture, cell homogenization, protein and RNA extraction, enzyme activity assays, Western blotting, and siRNA-mediated gene silencing. Bioinformatics skills, including experience with Linux environments and MATLAB-based software packages, are also required.
- Type of contract and working hours: Indefinite contract (Contrato indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas 17/2022)
- Date of incorporation: First term of 2026.
- Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
- Flexible payment (childminding vouchers + restaurant).
- 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.

The candidate will be in charge of identifying novel biomarkers of interest through release studies from cell cultures, using post-processing of MRI-acquired multimodal brain imaging data and/or analyses of blood samples.
