About the Role

We're looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial strategy and operations as we scale globally and build the foundation for future growth.

This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role for a finance professional who thrives on bringing structure, visibility, and discipline to a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will ensure financial excellence across planning, control, reporting, and cash management, and help prepare the company for its next phase of expansion, investment, and potential M&A opportunities.

The ideal candidate

  • Solid background in finance, FP&A, and control, ideally within B2B events, media, or services.
  • Experience building financial systems and frameworks in scaling companies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, comfortable translating data into decisions.
  • Exposure to corporate development, M&A, or investor relations.
  • Hands-on and adaptable, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English

Key responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and budgeting across all business lines.
  • Build accurate forecasts, event P&Ls, and dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and compliance, managing external providers.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and sponsor collections.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports with actionable insights.
  • Ensure audit-ready books and support investment or partnership readiness.
  • Contribute to M&A and corporate development initiatives, including modelling and due diligence.
  • Partner with the Co-CEOs on expansion and scenario planning.
  • Implement financial tools and processes to scale efficiency.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in finance, ideally in B2B events, media, or professional services.
  • Proven skills in financial planning, reporting, and control.
  • Experience in M&A, investor relations, or corporate finance is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/modelling skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and detail-oriented.
