Mission
As the Integration Technician Manager, your main mission within the area will responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of three technical teams dedicated to the integration and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including launch systems, test benches, and propulsion integration. You will ensure that assembly, installation, and maintenance procedures adhere to the highest quality standards, aligning with engineering requirements and project timelines. This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the work of three integration teams, ensuring the successful execution of assembly, maintenance, and testing operations.
- Oversee the installation and integration of tanks, propulsion systems, launch structures, and fluid systems.
- Supervise the assembly of structures and mechanisms, including steel frameworks, pipelines, valves, sensors, and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with engineering instructions, technical drawings, and safety protocols during all integration activities.
- Provide technical support for mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Monitor and report the progress of integration activities using the management system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including propulsion, avionics, and quality, to meet technical, cost, and scheduling objectives.
- Develop and optimize integration processes, including assembly manuals, work orders, post-assembly inspections, and reports.
- Support the creation of tooling and support equipment to facilitate hardware assembly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in assembly and integration processes.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of technical proficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Ensure the work environment is safe, clean, and well-organized.
Necessary Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Vocational Training in Mechanics, Automation, Electromechanics, Installations and Maintenance, or a related field.
- +8 years of experience in integration, assembly, or maintenance within aerospace, aviation, or related industries.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading technical projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural assembly, fluid systems, and electrical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Experience with assembly operations
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under tight schedules.
- Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
- Willingness to travel (Elche, Teruel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
