Job Description:
About the role:
Responsible for preparing and filing VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns, controlling payments to public authorities, and supervising the accounting and reconciliation of VAT bases. Includes the management and maintenance of the legal entity master data in SAP and SIGEFI, ensuring alignment with the group's tax obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate preparation and filing of VAT and Corporate Income Tax returns for companies, joint ventures, and consolidated groups.
  • Monitor VAT and CIT payments in coordination with the Treasury Department.
  • Prepare annual statistical summaries (Form 347) and other tax information returns.
  • Respond to tax authority requests, prepare supporting documentation, attend meetings, and submit legal arguments.
  • Support tax audit processes.
  • Supervise VAT base reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of tax notifications across group entities.
  • Maintain and update legal entity master data in SAP and SIGEFI, ensuring data integrity and compliance with tax regulations.
  • File management
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Treasury, IT Systems, and Internal Audit departments.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on taxes paid in Spain.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced Vocational Training in Administration, or Degree in Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in similar tax-related roles, preferably within corporate groups or multinational environments.
  • Languages: English. Intermediate level required (advanced level is a plus for international coordination).
  • Taxation (VAT and Corporate Income Tax).
  • Financial accounting and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP and SIGEFI, especially in managing legal entity master data.
  • Familiarity with tax forms such as 303, 390, 347, and 200.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Decision-making and interpersonal relationship management.
