Tax Manager

Take on a strategic role at Axpo, ensuring fiscal compliance, efficiency, and growth across a dynamic portfolio of entities. Lead tax-related matters, drive transfer pricing schemes, support M&A transactions, and manage regulatory reporting in a growing company with innovative projects.

What you will do:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns (corporate tax, VAT, withholding taxes, local taxes)
• Guarantee full compliance with national and international tax regulations for all group entities
• Coordinate and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation (Master File and Local Files) in line with OECD and local regulations
• Lead tax structuring for projects, investments, and financing arrangements
• Provide tax input and risk assessments for M&A transactions, including due diligence, SPA negotiation, and integration
• Oversee regulatory tax reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with accounting, legal, and compliance teams
• Manage and develop a team of two tax professionals while fostering relationships with external tax advisors
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all tax matters

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in tax management within multinational environments, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or renewables
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international taxation
• Hands-on experience in tax structuring for investments and M&A transactions
• Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with Navision
