As part of our transformation journey, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator, with expertise on managing transport, for one of our largest and most dynamic business units.

The position will be based in our best-in-class Supply Chain Hub in Barcelona, at the heart of Coty's SC transformation.

THE ROLE
As Transport Coordinator, you will orchestrate the daily operations for one of our main DCs in Europe's network. You will also co-create, within a truly multifunctional team, to drive continuous improvements and innovations.

Mission & responsibilities:

  • Lead Transport planning, management and execution, including exception management and root causing to identify corrective actions.
  • Coordination with the DC operations to maximize loading efficiency.
  • Carrier management (e.g. KPI control, continuous improvement)
  • Coordination with different internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Service Dept) to meet customers' requirements.
  • Maximize transport efficiency.
  • Control freight costs and drive optimization.
  • Support Transport RCCP Process
  • Define and lead transportation projects, e.g. cost saving opportunities, continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate transport projects and E2E SC initiatives
  • Reporting & utilization of different transport management systems

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Degree in Management / Engineering, with focus on Supply Chain.
  • Experience managing transport planning & execution.
  • Experience in cost control, optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Carrier management.
  • Experience in KPI reporting with advanced analytical skills (Excel, SAP, Power BI).
  • Ability to collaborate with different organizations across the globe.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • E2E Supply Chain understanding.
  • Motivated and with a "can do" attitude.
  • Work Process Improvement mindset.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral), German is considered a valuable asset.

Desirable:

  • SAP knowledge at advanced user level.
  • Team management experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of new AI technologies is considered a valuable asset.
