Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Salesforce Developer, located in Barcelona. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled person to join our team as a Salesforce Developer.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce applications that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with administrators, consultants, and other stakeholders to build scalable and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Customize and extend Salesforce functionalities using declarative and programmatic tools.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware tools.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
  • Optimize and refactor existing code and processes for better performance and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the Salesforce platform.
  • Work closely with administrators to ensure cohesive system configuration and performance.
  • Contribute to documentation of technical designs and best practices.
  • Collaborate with QA for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Manage version control and deployment processes using tools like Git, SFDX, and CI/CD.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Components.
  • Experience with Salesforce development tools such as Visual Studio Code and SFDX.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • 1 year of experience as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent development experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce APIs and integration tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Willingness to continue learning and growing within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Desirable

  • Experience with Lightning Web Components, REST/SOAP APIs, and asynchronous processing.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
  • Background in computer science, software engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Experience with middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier) is a plus.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Patterns is a plus.
