They are hiring a
Real Estate Valuation Analyst

to join their Madrid office. You'll report directly to our
US-based Head of Valuation

and partner daily with underwriting, credit, and asset teams supporting US lending. You'll own valuation reviews end-to-end: pull and adjust
comps

, estimate
as-is value

, sanity-check
ARV

, flag risks, and draft clear
rebuttals

when needed.

This is ideal for someone with
2–3 years

The Challenge

As a
Real Estate Valuation Analyst

, you will be an integral part of the Property Underwriting team. Your mission will be to:

  • Evaluate "as-is" and "as-repaired" values for residential properties, considering regional trends and comparable sales.
  • Use valuation techniques to assess realistic exit strategies (resale/rent) outlined by borrowers.
  • Present verbal and written analyses to the underwriting team, providing recommendations on complex valuation issues.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on closed loans and repurchase requests.
  • Challenge and rebut third-party appraisals when necessary.

What we'are looking for

We are looking for a skilled analyst with sound judgment and strong analytical abilities:

  • Experience

: 2+ years in real estate valuation, underwriting, loan servicing, or appraisal review.
- Market Knowledge

: Direct experience with
U.S. residential real estate markets

is required.
- Technical Standards

: Familiarity with U.S. valuation standards (e.g., USPAP) and comfort reviewing U.S.-based appraisals.
- Language

: Excellent English (written and verbal) is essential, as you will report to the US team.
- Education

: Bachelor's degree or higher.
