AWS Enablement Engineer

NN Digital Hub is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain. We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group.

On this occasion, we look for AWS Enablement Engineer to help us further standardise and rationalise the platform, and the way we deliver productised technology to our business units.

As a member of the team, AWS Enablement Team

Your responsibilities include: 

• Implement, and maintain a scalable and automated Golden AMI pipeline using AWS EC2 Image Builder and Ansible.
• Build and enforce a robust patch management lifecycle across multiple OS types.
• Develop reusable, modular Ansible playbooks/roles for configuration and patching.
• Integrate the Golden Image with multiple tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations(knowledge of CIS benchmark and other regulations).
• Support cross-platform imaging needs for RHEL, Windows, Amazon Linux, and other Linux variants.
• Provide documentation and operational support to internal teams.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, particularly EC2, EC2 Image Builder, Systems Manager, and CloudFormation/Terraform/CDK.
• Proven experience designing and managing Golden AMI pipelines in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Ansible (playbook writing, role management, OS-specific configurations).
• In-depth understanding of patch management practices for RHEL, Windows, and Amazon Linux.
• Familiarity with AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager, Inspector,Tenable and SSM Automation Documents.
• Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of operating system internals and update/patch lifecycles.
• Experience working in multi environment(Prod/Non-Prod) and with AWS Organizations setup with regards to Ami distributions.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with HashiCorp Packer, Azure Devops, or AWS CodePipeline for image builds.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning (e.g., Amazon Inspector, Tenable, etc.).
• Experience with compliance frameworks (CIS, etc.).
