Aventus Group is hiring a Head of Legal in Valencia

Aventus Group is an international fintech company operating in 23+ countries.

This is a strategic role with real influence on business decisions, risk management, and international expansion.

Key responsibilities:


• Lead and develop the legal function across multiple jurisdictions


• Act as a strategic legal partner to the business and top management


• Oversee regulatory compliance, licensing, and legal risk management


• Manage KYC/AML, consumer protection, data privacy, and fintech regulations


• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and partnerships


• Coordinate and manage external legal advisors across different countries


• Support product launches and market expansion from a legal perspective


• Build, optimize, and scale internal legal processes and policies


• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact

What we're looking for:


• 5+ years of experience in legal roles (fintech, financial services, or regulated industries preferred)


• Experience in an international or multi-jurisdictional environment


• Strong knowledge of regulatory, corporate, and commercial law


• Hands-on experience with compliance, licensing, and regulatory authorities


• Ability to translate complex legal matters into clear business solutions


• Leadership experience or readiness to lead and scale a legal team


• Fluency in English and Spanish


• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
