EFI is seeking a
EHS Compliance & Projects Specialist
based in our production plant in Almazora, Castellón, Spain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure environmental compliance across Spain and Europe (supporting other regions as needed).
  • Provide support for Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) initiatives in Europe (with potential involvement in other regions).

  • Lead and execute Continuous Improvement (CI) projects within the EHS function, including:

  • Standardization of policies, processes, and tools.

  • Implementation of 6S and risk assessment initiatives.
  • Development of AI-driven EHS projects.
  • Coordination with external OHS service providers across multiple countries.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (capable of working independently in a global environment).
  • Solid experience in environmental management.
  • Proven background in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS/PRL).
  • Hands-on experience in Spain with environmental and OHS regulations.
  • Familiarity with European and global (ROW) compliance standards.
  • Experience managing CI and EHS-related projects at both local and international levels.
  • Engineering or technical education is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong adaptability to evolving regulations and dynamic environments (Spain, Europe, ROW).
