About the Role

We are offering a
relocation opportunity to Spain for candidates based in Europe
to join one of the most important international companies in the field of technological development and IT solutions and work with advanced
Radar and Electronic Warfare (EW) programs
.

We are seeking
highly motivated RF & Microwave Antenna Engineers
to support the research, design, and development of complex radar and EW systems, delivering innovative solutions in
RF and microwave sub-system design and integration
.

This role involves solving complex technical challenges and contributing to cutting-edge antenna and phased array systems across
ground, airborne, and space-based platforms
, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the full system lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze
    system-level requirements
    and derive antenna system architectures and key capabilities, including identification of
    emerging technologies
    .
  • Perform
    research, design, analysis, and development
    of antenna systems and RF/Microwave products, optimizing
    size, weight, performance, and cost
    .
  • Design and analyze
    low-cost radiating elements and polarizers
    operating over wide bandwidths and wide scan angles.
  • Develop and test
    RF/Microwave components
    used in phased array antennas.
  • Review antenna system designs to ensure full
    traceability to system requirements
    .
  • Produce
    engineering documentation
    , including technical specifications, reports, design reviews, and technical presentations.
  • Design RF circuits for implementation on
    PCB and ceramic substrates
    .
  • Plan and execute
    antenna system integration, verification, validation, and risk assessment
    activities.
  • Conduct
    RF measurements
    , analyze results, and present findings to internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with
    multidisciplinary teams
    (RF, Mechanical, Manufacturing, I&T, Thermal, Digital, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    , with specialization in
    Antennas and RF/Microwave Engineering
    .
  • Strong background in
    electromagnetics, antennas, polarizers, and radomes
    .
  • Experience designing
    antennas
    (spiral, Vivaldi, slot, horn, etc.),
    phased arrays
    , and RF components for manufacturing.
  • Experience across the
    full system development lifecycle
    (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation, delivery, sustainment).
  • Hands-on experience with
    RF/Microwave test equipment
    (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, NF meters, oscilloscopes).
  • Ability to perform
    antenna pattern measurements
    and advanced RF characterization.
  • Experience with
    simulation tools
    such as
    HFSS, CST, and MATLAB
    .
  • Advanced English
    proficiency.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have / Valued Qualifications

  • Master's degree or
    PhD in Electrical Engineering
    .
  • Experience with
    Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    adaptive beamforming algorithms
    .
  • Experience in
    Radar Cross Section (RCS)
    reduction, analysis, simulation, and measurement.
  • Experience designing
    X-, Ku-, and Ka-band
    antenna systems.
  • Familiarity with
    Design to Cost (DTC)
    and
    DFMA
    methodologies.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Strong learning mindset and comfort in multi-tasking environments.
