We are currently looking for a
Purchasing Specialist
to join our Honest Greens family. In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing the best suppliers, negotiating optimal terms, and ensuring the highest quality standards for the products that bring our real food mission to life.

Responsabilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
  • Prepare RFQs and RFPs, and negotiate purchasing terms and conditions
  • Collect technical specifications and certifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor and enforce contract compliance to ensure adherence to terms, conditions, and pricing agreements
  • Conduct supplier performance (KPI) and competitiveness analysis
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, pricing, and best practices to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
  • Scout and onboard new suppliers to diversify sourcing and improve competitiveness
  • Compare supplier offers based on price, quality, delivery terms, and sustainability criteria
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, kitchen, finance) to align purchasing with business needs
  • Maintain purchasing documentation, including contracts, certifications, and supplier records
  • Update internal databases with supplier agreements, pricing, and contract terms to ensure accurate and accessible records
  • Support fast and effective resolution of issues related to deliveries, product quality, or supplier performance in coordination with restaurants and vendors
  • Support sustainability initiatives by selecting suppliers aligned with environmental and ethical standards

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Business Administration or in related fields
  • Minimum 2 years experience in procurement (Desirable in the food sector)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical profile with high attention to details
  • Can-do attitude, proactivity and good organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with ERP programs will be a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Advanced English will be a plus.
