YOUR MISSION
As a Senior Lead Labour Litigation Lawyer, you will be a key individual contributor in our HQ Legal Team, managing high-stakes and highly strategic labor cases. This is a rare and unique opportunity to actively shape the future of working relationships in Spain and beyond, contributing to critical case law that embraces technological innovation. You will be at the forefront of the most interesting and exciting challenges in labor law today.

THE JOURNEY

• Manage and provide consultation in the day-to-day labour implications of the litigation cases, for the company, mainly in Spain.
• Manage autonomously outside counsel, including instructing, negotiating fees, providing directions, arguments, and data.
• Be on top of each case, managing deadlines, next steps, and litigation strategy.
• Think strategically, propose general strategic orientations, and escalate/drive key decisions.
• Manage huge loads of data and information.
• Lead implementation and strategy of large-scale initiatives.
• Conduct complex ad hoc analyses in areas of expertise with little oversight / guidance.
• Act as a key legal partner to internal stakeholders.
• Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it.

What You'll Bring To The Ride

• 7-8 years of experience in total, with at least 3 years in private practice in law which must include litigation experience.
• Structured and straightforward communication both in English and Spanish.
• International profile, able to work in a flexible, collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
• Strategic thinker, creative, and competitive; a 'Fighter spirit' and passionate about litigation.
• Experienced litigator who has been exposed to complex cases during his/her career.
• Organized, diligent with great attention to details.
• Experience with labour vs self-employed reclassification.
• In-house experience in a tech company is nice to have.
• Experience in administrative litigation would be ideal.
• Ability to deep dive into the details of our operations.
• Knowledge of other languages or other fields of law.
• Experience with Social Security systems.
• Highly motivated in the world of start-ups and new technologies.
