Responsibilities
Technical Expertise in GPON and FTTH:
Advanced knowledge of GPON technologies, including OLTs, ONTs, ONUs, and fiber optics.
Proficiency in IP communication services such as LAN/WAN/VPNs, SD-WANs, and network security.
Configuration and Commissioning:
Detailed configuration of GPON equipment, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and verification processes to guarantee optimal system performance.
Advanced Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution:
Diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues without predefined procedures.
Collaboration with clients and teams to analyze and resolve incidents promptly.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
Development of operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Creation of technical documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, and ad hoc procedures, to support client and project needs.
On-Site and Remote Support:
Provide on-site technical assistance for critical deployments and emergencies.
- Remote troubleshooting and guidance for teams during high-pressure situations, such as overnight swaps
Requirements
- Proven experience with GPON and FTTH technologies.
- Strong understanding of IP networking and network security.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
- Flexibility to work on-site full-time in Alcobendas.
